Best Friends

It was a usual day for Ann inside her classroom. She is waiting for her friend Shane. Shane is her best friend since she is still young. Shane is Ann's childhood friend. But when Ann met Mike it seems that Ann started to be closer to Mike than Shane. So Shane told Mike to stay away from Ann. Mike did what Shane told her to do. When Ann knew what Shane has done, she asked Shane why she did it. 

"I did it because I was afraid that I might lose you. I'm afraid that you will stop being my friend and leave me."  Shane said.

" I will never leave you. Remember when you were bullied? Did I leave you? No right? Just trust me." Said Ann

"Pinky promise?" 

Ann nodded and they do the pinky promise. Both of them were glad  and happy. Then the next day, Shane apologized to Mike. Mike accepted her apology and they became best friends.
